The picture book, Red Muffler, garners attention from around the world for its dynamic, dimensional illustrations and sensual design. Red Muffler features the South Pole Base cook, Ian and the baby penguin Paul. They become friends, incubate abandoned penguin eggs and make the South Pole a place full of happiness, depicted through a wide variety of unique expressive techniques. By creating scenes that blend 2-dimensional illustrations and 2.5- and 3-dimensional shapes, taking photos of them and the applying graphics, Sen Woo has dedicated his passion and affection to every single scene. Red Muffler is Sen Woo's first picture book, and it embodies his experiences and know-how from working as an art director for animation, movies and design in many countries. As such, the book has garnered a lot of attention and praise from individuals in the publication field and also animators and designers around the world. Requests for a publishing review came from 23 countries at the 2013 Bologna Children's Book Fair. It was selected as the Bologna Children's Book Fair Most Unique Books 5 by the Italian daily magazine, Il Resto del Carlino. It also garnered much attention at book fairs around the world including the China Book Fair, London Book Fair and art book fairs at Milan and Florence. Sen Woo gave a lecture as the special guest at the Narni and Milani Art Book Fair.
He said that he started building the idea for this book after seeing a penguin sadly walking away from a South Pole base on a documentary program on TV. The story of the baby penguin Paul looking after penguin eggs, which were abandoned due to the climate change caused by global warming, and successfully protecting them with the friends he made delivers an adorable joy with an emotional touch. The story also depicts a fantasy world where animals and humans live happily together, asking the reader to sincerely think about the animals who are losing their habitats due to the destruction of the environment or the greed of mankind.

생생한 입체 일러스트와 감각적인 디자인으로 전 세계의 주목을 받고 있는 그림책『안녕, 폴』.『안녕, 폴』은 남극기지의 요리사 이언과 아기 펭귄 폴이 친구가 되어 버려진 펭귄 알들을 부화시키고, 모두가 행복한 남극을 만들어가는 재미난 이야기를 독특하고 다양한 표현 기법을 통해 정성스럽게 담아낸 그림책이다. 평면 일러스트와 입체, 반입체 모형이 어우러진 장면을 만들고, 사진을 찍고, 그래픽 작업을 가미하여 완성한 장면 장면들에 작가의 애정과 열정이 가득하다.『안녕, 폴』은 센우 작가의 첫 그림책으로, 오랫동안 국내외 애니메이션, 영화, 디자인 분야에서 아트 디렉터로 일했던 경험과 노하우가 고스란히 담겨 있어 세계 여러 나라 출판 관계자들뿐만 아니라 애니메이터, 디자이너 등으로부터 많은 관심과 찬사를 받고 있다. 2013 볼로냐 아동도서전에서는 총 23개국으로부터 출판 검토 요청을 받았고, 이탈리아 일간지《일 레스트로 델 까를리노》가 뽑은 ‘볼로냐 아동도서전 Most Unique Books 5′에 선정되었다. 그 밖에도 중국 도서전, 런던 도서전, 밀라노와 피렌체 등에서 개최되는 아트 북 페어에서도 많은 관심을 받았다. 이탈리아 ‘나르니 & 밀라노 아트북 페어’ 에 특별 게스트로 초청되어 강연을 하기도 했다.
어느 날 작가는 남극 다큐멘터리를 보던 중 남극기지를 뒤로 하고 쓸쓸히 걸어가는 펭귄의 모습을 보고 이 이야기를 만들었다고 한다. 지구 온난화로 인한 기후 변화 때문에 버려진 알들을 홀로 돌보던 아기 펭귄 폴이 대원들의 도움으로 알들을 지켜 내고, 펭귄들과 사람들이 어우러져 행복하게 살아가는 판타지를 담은 이 그림책은 재미와 감동을 줄 뿐만 아니라 우리가 살아가는 지구에 대해서, 환경오염이나 사람들의 욕심으로 인해 살 곳을 잃어 가는 동물들에 대해서 진지하게 생각해 보게 한다.
