Overview

This book presents a comprehensive overview of various accidents that can occur in daily life and preventive measures.

Book Intro

Books that list information like dictionaries are difficult to read or navigate. Safety: A Children's Encyclopedia is organized in such a way that makes it easier for readers to look up information and then apply it to real life situations. This book offers safety tips for children as well as specialized safety information for parents and gives real-life examples of accidents. The combination of various types of safety information makes it a fascinating read. In addition, readers can easily figure out from the table of contents alone what information is offered for each specific situation and look up the contents they need using the search section. Preschool children under six years of age are most prone to accidents. However, to children who cannot read, it is difficult to explain in words every possible danger. This book uses fun pictures to illustrate various dangers. Children not yet familiar with reading can learn about safety rules from the pictures. There are over 300 pictures, which feature a puppy character called Keokoori. Like an innocent child, Keokoori takes nothing for granted and views things in a new light. Children will see themselves in Keokoori and think warmly of him, which will draw them further into the book. As a result, when they face a similar situation, they will be able to take active measures.
