When children start playing with friends outside and can start doing things on their own, mothers start letting their child do things that she used to take care of. He
has no idea that mother is always keeping an on eye on him, just not saying anything, wonders how mother knows everything I do without seeing. <How Did You Guess, Mom?> is a book about mother who keeps scolding her child telling him what to do and what not to do, and the child who quietly puts his chores off, and secretly doing things that he was told not to do. It is a story that everyone can relate to by experience, and the boy who finally had a secret that he wanted so much, but could not keep it in and told his mother, which the mother finds to be very cute.
- About the Author
(English) Lee Na Young (F), born in Seoul in 1973, studied biology and creative writing at university and children's literature and children's story writing at the Children's Story Writer School and graduate school. She started her career as a writer after winning the 13th Munhakdongne Children's Literary Award in 2012.
She has written one picture book, How did Mom Know?, and the children's stories Time Shop; The Red Thread; The Footprint Kid; and Twelve Years Old, A Lovable Me.
(English2) Lee made her debut with Time Store, which won the 13th Munhakdongne Children's Literary Award. Since then, she has gone on to write other books such as Rise Grasslands Villa, Red Thread, The Footprint Child, Twelve Years Old and In Love, The 13-Year-Old's Dunk Shoot, Protect Ari!, and Blue Marble.
(English) Ahn Eunjin graduated from Hongik University with a degree in Western Painting and has drawn pictures for more than 20 children’s books so far. She won the Special Prize at the Korean Fine Arts Contest in 1994. Books illustrated by Ahn include The Guide to Art Gallery for Children, Crocodile Urina and The Eco-Corridor.
