From a plethora of different personalities, the author chose 16 based on the MBTI personalities and projected them onto a cycling race as athletes, with each being given a moment to express themselves on canvas. The narrator the audience meets in each scene is different. By encountering each tale individually and concurrently, the diversity of personhood can be understood at a glance.
In the bicycle race an obstacle may suddenly appear, uphills and downhills await, and a few fall off their bikes. Whereas some help those struggling, others strive with only victory in mind. And at the end of the day someone must finish last, which is eerily reflective of the human condition.
Though the 16 athletes are the protagonist in their own scene, they appear as background characters in others to continue their tale. It is similar to how we play the main role within our own lives, but then become an extra in others' lives. At times, the portrayal of myself by myself may overlap with those from others, but there will also be moments when their disunity is clear, akin to the illustration on the back page. Thusly the book depicts the fundamental constructs of society.

Kim Kyungshin
Specializing in Painting at university, I participated in several individual and group activities as an artist. In 2012, after completing a course in art therapy, I currently practice art therapy in a development center and teach art lessons to those with a developmental disability. Recreationally, long walks amongst nature to cleanse the eyes and exhilarating bike rides are my favorite activities, moments that are reminisced and put to canvas. To be happy doing activities in a world we occupy, and to understand the differences between my world and others and through this understanding live is what the author wishes to portray in my work.
