(English)Park Young-ran was born in Yeongyang in the North Gyeongsang province in 1965 and lived in Seoul since the age of twelve. Her long novel, Seoul Station, was awarded the Creation Fund of the Arts Council Korea. Park has written a collection of stories The Side Story of Raguna, novels including My Lonely Durian Tree, Be Nice to Youngwoo, Shh, in silent and The Spread of Evil Spirits, Welcome to the Midnight Store and children's stories The Secret of The Rooftop Garden. The artist's work asks life problems, and sharp questions that penetrate humanity are melted into a warm story.
