My father, who transformed my life into art

(English) A PLASTERER
The writer Lee Myung-hwan's father worked as a plasterer who specialized in putting tiles in buildings. The writer was always proud of his father's tiling work, and inspired by his father, he grew up to become an illustrator. The father's diligent and strenuous work has given birth to the beautiful artwork of his son.
- About the Author
Born in Seoul, he moved to Pocheon at the age of 5, grew up in the countryside until he entered college, and the mountains and fields became a playground for him.
He sometimes came across roe deer, rabbits, squirrels, and pheasants that became his friends on the road. After that, he studied visual design at Sungkyunkwan University and taught students for 5 years after graduation. He is now working on fun graphic designs and making picture books.
