El libro de dibujo de la autora e ilustradora del año elegida por la Feria Internacional del Libro de Bolonia de 2017, Joo Yeonkyoung. Desenrollado por una tierna imaginación y motivado por diversos cuentos antiguos y “los tres cerditos”, el libro brinda suficientemente catarsis a los niños. Un día, el cerdo malvado, que aparece destrozando la tranquilidad del bosque y maltrata a los animales pequeños y débiles, es una figura familiar inclusive en la vida cotidiana ya que traviesos que les quitan los juguetes, golpean y empujan a los amigos hay en todas partes. La gran atracción de este cuento es que los animales pequeños se juntan para compartir ideas sin entregarse ante una figura sumamente fuerte. Este libro ayuda a incrementar la imaginación de los niños e importancia de la relación de amistad.

Joo Yeon-gyong
(English) Joo Yeon-gyong worked as a children's picture book designer before studying illustration at the University of Brighton Graduate School and becoming a picture book writer and illustrator. Big Bad Pig, one of the books Joo created in the U.K, was arawded Highly Commended for the 2012 Macmillan Children’s Book Prize. Thanks to Orchestra, she was selected as the Illustrator of the Year in 2017 at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair. Orchestra is the first book Joo wrote and illustrated. She still remembers the wonderful orchestra performances she attended when she was young. Many musical instruments with different sounds were played together, forming one musical unit. When Joo left the concert hall, stars in the night sky were shinning like diamonds. Looking at the stars, she thought music filled her, everyone around her, and the world. The experience became one of her motives for writing and illustrating this book.
(Japanese) 子供の本デザイナーとして活動し、イギリスブライトン大学大学院でイラストレーションを学びました。イギリスで作った本の一つである『Big Bad Pig』が2012 Macmillan Children’s Book PrizeでHighly Commendedを受賞し、『オーケストラ』で2017ボローニャ国際児童図書展今年のイラストレーターに選定されました。
(French) J'ai travaillé en tant que créatrice de livre pour enfant et fait le master en illustration à l'université de Brighton en Royaume-Uni. J'ai gagné le prix 'Higly Commended' à '2012 Macmillan Children’s Book Prize' par un des livres que j'ai fabriqués en Royaume-Uni. Aussi, je suis sélectionnée comme illustratrice de l'année à l'exposition des livres pour enfant de Bologne en 2017 pour son livre "Orchestre".
