(English) I'm Going Training Again Today
"I kept a training diary, like offering a prayer to myself while sitting in front of a small desk after a day's training. Sometimes, it was a simple memo, other times it was written in a diary format. I recorded my feelings during training every day. For example, if Monk Munju at Golgulsa Temple taught me a new move, I wrote it in the journal with illustrations."
Kim Jaedeok, the writer of I'm Going Training Again Today, was introduced to Sunmudo when he was 18 years-old. He used to be accompanied by his father, who learned Sunmudo in Golgulsa Temple, or the stronghold of Sunmudo. His dad had been training for years. After being discharged from the military, he went into Golgulsa Temple. He reached Sunmudo fifth grade in 2018 after passing the Sunmudo leadership training course.
This book is a diary kept for over 10 years in the form of a "journal" so that Sunmudo can be easily approached by ordinary people. You can do yoga, meditation, Qigong and martial arts all at once with Sunmudo. What make this book great is that the important moves of Sunmudo are kindly explained with illustrations throughout the training stories.
