Changbi Publishers is a comprehensive publishing house in Korea, publishing quality books in diverse categories including literature, humanities, liberal arts, children’s literature, young adult literature, and picture books. In addition, we strive to create a new knowledge culture by publishing textbooks, providing media services, and offering courses/lectures. Through top-notch editing, design, and marketing, Changbi supports authors to produce outstanding works and would like to continue contributing to creating a better world through the medium of books. In the 21st century, Changbi continues to challenge and innovate. In 2003, the company changed its name from “Changjak-gwa Bipyeong-sa” to “Changbi” and established a new home in the Paju Publishing Complex. Here, we published works that created a new wave in Korean literature, as well as a wide range of liberal arts books in various fields, including seminal research works by renowned scholars, within and outside of Korea. Through the revitalization of children’s and young adult literature, Changbi has also solidified its status as a comprehensive publishing house that encompasses all generations of readers. In addition, Changbi has started education publishing, revolutionizing textbooks and educational books for middle and high schools, and is working steadfastly on media content production, including e-books and audiobooks.
