(English) Kwon is a co-founder and co-CEO of Primer Sazze Partners, a venture capital firm. He graduated from Seoul National University's Department of Mechanical Design and received a master's degree from KAIST's Department of Mechanical Engineering. Kwon received a doctorate from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley in the United States, and an MBA from the INSEAD Business School in France. 

 Kwon was director general of Blended Finance at the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) in Korea. Prior to that, he worked for Deutsche Bank, Hong Kong and Seoul, and for Barclays Capital, London and Singapore. He taught and did research on finance and technology management at CHA University and Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). He also worked for Kia Motors and Samsung SDS as an engineer, and taught finance at Korea University and Chung-Ang University. 

His major publications include "New Finance Declaration," "Begin Today: Learn About Finance," “Learning About Money,” "How Money Grows," "Derivative Finance Manual," "Companies Are Not Investors’ Toys," "Three Keys," "The Winning Choice," "Engineering Classes for the Future," "Breaking Innovation," and "Engineer Heroes."
