(English) Kim Minjeong attended the Presbyterian University and Theological Seminary and received a PhD in Creative Literature from Chung-Ang University. She received the Young Writer Award at the 2012 Gu Sang Literary Awards and was selected as the 2013 Next Generation Artist in the field of literature by the Arts Council Korea. She was awarded New Cultural Critic Award by Cultura, a cultural quarterly for her drama review, Genre Ironies of Fantasy Dramas in 2018. Books she has published include Promotional Novel and Han Hyun-min's Black Swag. She currently lectures on storytelling at Chung-Ang University.

(Japanese) 文化専門誌『CULTURA (クルトゥラ)』にドラマ批評を連載し、KBS World radio『キム・ヒョンジュンの音楽世界』にレギュラーパーソナリティとして出演し、K-ドラマの面白さと意味を韓国国内外に広く伝える仕事をしている。中央大学文芸創作学科教授。著書に『ドラマに私の顔がある』、ドラマエッセイ『お姉ちゃんがいるのはちょっと羨ましい』、ドラマ評論集『あなたの夜のためのドラマの使い方』、ドラマ理論書『あなたの人生はどんなドラマですか』などがある。
