(English) Kim Ryu-hyeon worked as a broadcasting writer for various TV entertainment programs, and debuted as a drama writer when she received an honorable mention with her script, Scandal with an Enemy, at a scenario contest sponsored by the SBS Culture Foundation. Kim co-wrote Switch: Change the World, a TV series aired on SBS. She received funding for storytellers from the CJ Culture Foundation for her scenario, Recalled, which was screened at movie theaters in 2021. She was also awarded for her short story at the Woman Joongang Romance Novel Contest.

The Secret Her’s Band is a novel that received publication after being selected as a best story by the Korea Creative Content Agency, a government agency that oversees the promotion of the Korea content industry. Kim displays her versatility as a storyteller who knows no boundaries as she goes from film to tv dramas to novels. Currently, she’s working on a TV series. Kim says that she wants to be a story writer who creates intriguing stories regardless of genre or medium.
