Myeong began writing children’s stories in “Writers and the Story Tellers,” a creative writing group, and debuted with The Wolf Is Here! which won the 2019 Shinchun-Munye contest of the Maeil Newspaper. She won the Golden Pen Children’s Literature award in the same year.
