(English) Having received his PhD in classical poetry from Korea University, Gwon is presently teaching at Korea National University of Education in the Department of Korean Language and Literature. He is dedicated to discovering new collections of classical poems, and studying and categorizing them. He coauthored An Annotated Transcription of Songs of Green Hills the Kim Cheontaek Version, Anthology of Classical Sijo, and Bibliographical Notes on Published Classical Sijo.
