Onishi Misono came to live in Korea from Japan when she was in middle school. She has a Korean husband and raises two children while working as a picture book writer. Welcome, Rhinobeetle! is a picture book about a boy who comes home with a beetle larva and takes care of it as his pet. The writer wrote the book in order to share the joy and lessons of respecting all life.
