(English) Lee Seonju began her writing career when she received the Grand Prize in the 5th Munhak-Dongne Young Adult Literary Award for her novel The Children Outside the Window. She wrote the young adult fiction Detective Maeng’s Counseling Center and Ding! You Have Mail and children’s books such as A Relay with My Grandma and Just Betty. Her picture books include The Hotel that Embraced the Rock and Shout, Run and Write! She also authored the Taedong, Let’s Eat series.

(Japanese) 青少年小説『窓の外の子どもたち』で第5回文学トンネ青少年文学賞大賞を受賞し創作活動を始めた。童話『おばあちゃんと私のリレー』、『ただのベティ』、絵本『叫んで走って、そして書け！』と『テドン、ごはんにしよう』シリーズ、青少年小説『猛探偵お悩み相談所』シリーズ、『ピロン！　メールが来ました』、 『16歳のタイミング』など多数の本を出版した。
