Han Haksoo was born in 1969. He entered Seoul National University in 1987, majoring in Business Administration and received an MA at the same university. In 1997, he joined MBC and began working as a producer. In 2001, Han took charge of <i>PD Notebook</i>(TV program, MBC). Han became an icon of investigative journalism since he reported about Doctor Hwang Woosuk’s manipulation of papers on stem cells in 2005, and he won first prize in Current Affairs at the Asia TV Awards in 2006, the Prize of the Year in Planned Reporting in 2006, and the prize for TV Producer of the Year at the Korean Broadcasters Association in 2006. Han has worked on many programs but still wants to see the world with an open and warmhearted mind. He still dreams of making stylish works.
