(English) After studying Korean language and literature at Sookmyung Women’s University, Jeong received her Ph.D. degree for her thesis titled A Study on Court Literature. In 2015, she started working in the Department of Korean Language and Literature at Kangnam University, where she is now a professor emeritus. She also worked as an advisor for the restoration project of the Sojubang kitchen in Gyeongbokgung Palace, and gave lectures on court literature at the National Palace Museum of Korea, Jangseogak, the Seoul Museum of History, the Suwon Museum, the Suwon Hawseong Museum, the Korea Tourism Organization, and Korea Youth Association. She edited and transcribed The Diary from the Gyechuk Year, The Story of Queen Inhyeon, and The Memoirs of Lady Hyegyeong, as well as published research papers on these classical literary works.
