Kim Munsik (M) studied Korean History, earning his Bachelor's, Master's and Ph.D from Seoul National University. He worked at Kyujanggak Institute for Korean Studies at Seoul National University and is currently sociology professor at Dankook University. Books he has written include A Study of Gyeonghak in the Late Joseon Period, Gyeonghak and Jujahak of King Jeongjo, The Disciplines of King Jeongjo's Kingship, Foreign Perceptions of Late Joseon Intellectuals and The Thoughts of King Jeongjo. Books he has co-written include The Education of Joseon Princes, Euigwe: The Jewel of Recording Culture of Joseon Dynasty, Life of the King of Joseon, Royal Family's Ancestral Rites to Heaven and Enthronement, the Birth of a King.
