(English) Jang Seon-Hwan studied art education in college and painting in graduate school. Jang has taught students while working as a painter and picture book writer. His works include Tideland War, Surfing, Lining Up, and Dad Bird. Jang illustrated A Child Who Crosses a River, A Woodman and a Fairy, The Record of the Black Dragon Year, and The Last Wolf.

(French) Né à Séoul, il est diplômé en pédagogie artistique et en beaux-arts à l’Université kyunghee. En tant qu'auteur et illustrateur, il a publié Peux-je construire une maison sur ton dos?, On va t’aider, Chocolat d’Afrique, Salut,parkbot, Papa oiseau, Guerre de la marée basse, et illustré naître et disparaître,  Voleur-monstre dans la terre, L'histoire coréenne à lire lentement et correctement (5 tomes au total). 

(Japanese) 大学で美術教育学を勉強し、大学院で絵画を学んだ。画家であり絵本作家としても活動しながら学生たちを教えた。絵と文を書いた本に『干潟戦争』、『波乗り』、『列に並びます』、『パパ鳥』があり、絵を描いた本に『川を渡る子』、『木こりと天女』、『最後のオオカミ』 がある。
