Principal author Yu Gina graduated from the School of French Language and Literature at Ewha Womans University and received a doctorate from the Graduate School of Semiotics at Paris Diderot University. She currently works as a film critic and professor at Dongguk University. Yu received an academic merit from the French government for her contribution to promoting global cultural diversity. Her works include Women in Feminist Films (co-authored), Films by Women, and Cinema, a Journey to Find Myself (co-authored).
