Born in Seoul in 1977, the first novel, Temple of the Dragon, was written while currently in the third year of Seoul National University's English department. It is a novel that complements the incompleteness of the classic fantasy novel, J.R.R. Tolkien's The War of the Rings. For this novel she was awarded the 1998 Youth Knowledge Impression. She is currently serving at Seoul National University.
