Baek studied cartoons and animation in college. He illustrates for animations and books. He was art director for the animated work Queen Sim Cheong, and illustrated for The Messenger, The Wayfarer Star, A Heart Wrenching Story of Frightful Tigers, and I Walk the Silk Path.
