(English) Yun, Seok-jung was born in Seoul in 1911. He graduated from Sophia University in Japan after dropping out of Yangjung High School. Until he passed away on December 9, 2003, at 93, He was a poet and leader of the world of Korean children's literature, as well as a child cultural activist called the 'father of children's songs' or 'Yun Seok jung Grandpa.' Of the more than 1,200 children's poems he left, more than 800 have been made into children's songs, including Pongdang Pongdang, Cchak Cchak Kkoong, Narinari Forsythia, Half Moon in the Day, Beside Train Track, Three Umbrellas Side by Side. The Children's Day Song, and Graduation Song have been widely known across generations.

(Russian) Поэт Юн Сокчун родился в Сеуле в 1911 году, учился в школе Янчжон, а позже окончил Университет Софии в Токио. Он писал стихи и песни для детей и до последних дней жизни был активистом движения за поддержку детской культуры. За его роль в детской литературе его называли «отцом детских песен» и «дедушкой Юн Сокчуном». Поэт скончался 9 декабря 2003 года в возрасте 93 лет.
