Yang Sugeun (M) made his literary debut in 1996 when his story The Riot Police won the annual spring literary contest hosted by Jeonnam Ilbo. Since then, he has written many pieces including some plays (Hole in One, The Lighthouse, Pomegranates of May) ​and a musical piece called The Magic Lilly. Yang is father to three ordinary children who love watching the stars. He wrote An Alien Boy Living on Earth, his first creative fairy tale, to tell a funny story to his kids.
