(English) Jang Se-Ryun was born in Gamgol, Sangju in North Gyeongsang Province, where she was able to develop her emotions surrounded by the countryside landscape. She started writing as a youngster with the help of a teacher. She became a children’s story writer when she received the Changju Literature Award in 1988. Jang was also awarded the Children’s Literature Award in 1998. Her works include A Child Who Followed the Sound of a Bell, A Gift from A Snowman, A Daddy’s Whale, I Thought I Am the Best, More Beautiful than Flowers, Stories of Four Families, and Believe in You in Yourself. She also received the Ulsan Pen Literature Award, Ulsan Literature Award, and Ulsan Children’s Literature Award. She also served as the chair of the Ulsan Children’s Literature Society. Currently she teaches writing at libraries and schools, and is the director of the Korea Children’s Literary Association.

(Chinese) 生于庆尚北道尚州，从小感性丰富，跟随老师学习写作。1988年荣获“沧州文学奖”，1998年所创作童话入选“儿童文化文学奖”，正式成为童话作家。曾荣获“蔚山文学奖”、“蔚山儿童文学奖”等奖项，历任“蔚山儿童文学会”会长。目前，在图书馆和学校教授写作，同时担任“韩国儿童文学人协会”理事一职。

(Vietnamese) Năm 1988, tác giả được trao Giải thưởng văn học Changju và Giải thưởng văn học thiếu nhi năm 1998 và trở thành một nhà văn truyện cổ tích.
