(English) Woobong Chung received his master's and doctoral degrees from the Department of Korean Language and Literature at Korea University. He studies Chinese literature, classical prose, history of literary criticism, and East Asian cultural exchanges. He is also interested in promoting the writings of people from the past. He is currently a professor at the Department of Korean Language and Literature at Korea University. His books include Diaries in the Late Joseon Period and Structure and Development of Poetry Criticism in the Late Joseon Period.
