(English) Ji Hyuck Moon studied English literature at Seoul National University and creative writing at the Korea National University of Arts. Later he earned a Master of Arts degree from New York University. He made his literary debut with his short story "Chaser". His works include the novels ELEMENTARY KOREAN, BIBLION, CITY OF P, and CHASER, and the short story collections TWO NIGHTS WITH A LION, and WHEN WE CROSS THE BRIDGE. He also translated WIRED for Story by Lisa Cron and WRITING FICTION by Janet Burroway. Currently, he is teaching creative writing at Korea National University of Arts.

(Japanese) 2010年、短編小説「チェイサー」を発表して作家活動を開始。著書に長編小説『初級 韓国語』、『ビ ブリオン』、『Pの都市』、短編集『ライオンとの二夜』等がある。 翻訳家、小説創作を教える大学講師としても幅広く活動中。
