(English) Lee Sanghee majored in archeological and art history in Seoul National University acquired her M.A. and Ph.D in anthropology from University of Michigan in the United States. She worked as a researcher at Sokendai, the Graduate University for Advanced Studies in Japan, after which she moved on to Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Currently she is an anthropology professor at University of California, Riverside. As the first Korean paleoanthropology doctor, she travels around the world to study our human ancestors at excavation sites. Her interests are telling new and important stories about the origin and evolution of humankind, and writing for those wondering about their roots. She wrote Professor Lee Sanghee’s Story of Humankind and co-wrote The Origin of Humankind; Boys and Girls, Do Science!; and Origin, the Ultimate Questions.
