(English) Cho Hyun was born in Damyang, Jeollanam-do, Korea in 1969. Cho majored in public administration at Soongsil University and studied comprehensive arts at the graduate school of Kookmin University. His literary career began with the publication of his first work in Dong-A Ilbo. Cho has published two short-story collections, The History of Hamburg That No One Cares About and Good-bye to Sad Endings. 

(Japanese) 2008年『東亜日報』新春文芸でデビュー。小説集『誰にとってもなんでもないハンバーガーの歴史』、『サッドエンディングにさようなら』、長編小説『私、イフェメラの守護者』がある。『ルカチを読む夜』は作者初の散文集である。

(Vietnamese) Năm 2008, tác giả xuất hiện lần đầu trên Dong-A Ilbo với tư cách là Văn học tân xuân. Tác giả có một bộ sưu tập tiểu thuyết <Lịch sử của những chiếc bánh mì kẹp thịt, chẳng là gì đối với bất kỳ ai>, <Tạm biệt đoạn kết buồn>, và tiểu thuyết dài <Tôi, Người bảo vệ linh hồn>. <Đêm đọc Lukacs> là tập văn xuôi đầu tay của tác giả.
