(English) Hong Myungjin received the Chun Taeil Literary Award in 2001 and began her literary career full-scale in 2008 after she was awarded the annual spring literary contest of the Kyeongin Ilbo. She received the Sakyejul Literary Award with her young adult novel of Space Flight in 2013, and since then she has been writing young adult novels too. Hong is a prolific writer whose work includes the novels of Sumbi-Sori and Miss Cho; the young adult novels of Space Flight, Time Capsule 1985, and Alice’s Streusel Bread; the short stories collections of Turtleneck Sweater and Your Secret; and the essay collection of What I Eat Now Is What My Mom Used to Eat. She has also co-authored The Density of Complexes, Seventeen and Seventeen, and The Worms. Hong is a recipient of the Baek Sinae Literary Award, the Woohyun Art Award, and the Kim Yong Ik Novel Literary Award.
(Chinese) 2001年获全泰壹文学奖,2008年作品入选《京仁日报》“新春文艺”,从此步入文坛开始创作活动。2013年发表青少年长篇小说《宇宙飞行》,获四季文学奖,正式开始青少年文学创作。出版的作品有:长篇小说《海女口哨声》、《密斯曹》;青少年长篇小说《宇宙飞行》、《时光宝盒》、《爱丽丝的菠萝包》;短篇小说集《高领毛衣》、《你的秘密》;散文集《我在吃妈妈吃过的食物》等。另外还发表了诸多与他人合著的文章,例如:《自卑的密度》、《seventeen, seventeen》,《虫子们》等。此外获得的奖项有:白信爱文学奖、又玄艺术奖、金溶益小说文学奖等。
