Kwon Il Yong is the first Korean profiler as well as a Doctor of Criminology. He worked as a CSI profiler at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, the head of the criminal behavior analysis team at the National Police Agency, and a professor in charge of profiling and homicide investigation at the Korea Police Investigation Academy. Kwon played a crucial role in the creation and growth of the first profiling team in Korea. He was certified as the first crime analysis master of the Korea Police Agency in 2008 and was awarded the Korea CSI Grand Prize in 2011. He was a recipient of the Order of Okjo Service Merit in 2016.
Ko Namu is a nonfiction writer and biographer. He had long worked as a journalist for the newspaper Hankyoreh. His works include Chun Doo Hwan: Man Still Alive . He also serially published the series Testimony of Survivors of the Crimes of the Chijon Gang on the Kakao Story Funding platform.
