(English) She was born in the city of Yesan in 1975 and studied creative writing at Myongji College. She made her literary debut when her short story "Thirteen Years Old" won the new writer's award sponsored by Seoul Newspaper in 2006. The collections of her short stories include Things No One Talks About and As Quietly as Today, and her novels include Bad Blood, Delusions, Seonhwa, and Our Stop and the Night of Transcription.
