Lee Ki Ho was born in 1972 in Wonju in the Gangwon province of South Korea. He started his career after his short story, Bunny, got selected at Contemporary Literature in 1999. Lee wrote short stories under the titles of Who's Dr. Kim? and Choi Sun-duk Filled with the Holy Spirit. Novels written by Lee include A World History of Second Sons and At Least We can Apologize. To date, Lee has won the Lee Hyoseok Literary Award, Hankook Ilbo Literary Award, and Kim Seungok Literary Award. Currently, he teaches creative writing at Gwangju University.
