(English) Bae Haksoo studied philosophy as an undergraduate and achieved his Master's degree and Ph.D. degree in the Department of Philosophy at Seoul National University. Bae wrote his dissertation Heidegger’s Interpretation of Kant as a Deconstructionist Work of Traditional Ontology in 1992 and published two dance philosophy papers in academic journals of philosophy based on his own folk masque club activities during his college years and Heidegger’s theory of art. Since 2001 he has written many articles about dance for the Busan Ilbo and the art magazine, Art Busan. His writing includes Freud’s Civilization Dialectic: The Struggle between Eros and Thanatos (2018) and Reading Freud’s A General Introduction to Psychoanalysis: The Dialectic of the Conscious and the Unconscious (2020). Currently, Bae is a professor at Kyungsung University.  

(Japanese) ソウル大学哲学科を卒業し、同大学院哲学科で修士号と博士号を取得。博士論文「伝統的存在論の一つの解体作業としてのハイデッガーのカント解析」（1992）を書いた後、大学時代、民俗仮面劇会の活動経験とハイデッガーの芸術思想をもとに舞踊哲学論文2編を哲学学術誌に発表しながら、2001年から<釜山日報>と芸術雑誌『芸術釜山』に舞踊コラムを多数寄稿した。著書に『フロイトの『精神分析入門講義』読書-意識と無意識の弁証法」（2020）、『フロイトの文明弁証法-エロスとタナトスの闘争』(2018)などがある。現在、慶星大学教授。
