Jeong Hyewon is a children’s and YA author with a love for Korean music and classics. Jeong was awarded the Urikyoyuk Authors’ Prize in the Planning Division for Pansori Soripan, the Children’s and YA International History Book Prize for The Foreigners Who Took Root in Korean History, and the ARKO Literary Grant for The Dad Who Went to Get Beaten. Jeong is also the author of Boknam follows the King’s Secret Agent, The Graves so Loud that the Dead Will Roll, The Tale of the Rabbit: How Would You Take Out and Put Back My Liver?, Children of the Three Kingdoms, Who Owns Sound?, and Exploring the Nooks and Crannies of Gyeongju with the Hwarang.
