(English) Hwang Jiyeong launched her literary career with Children and Literature in 2013. Hwang received the Woongjin Junior Literary Award for shot stories and the Mahaesong Literary Award with Real Marae.

Hwang is the author of Folder to Hide, New Posting Available at Sunshine Elementary School Bulletine Board, Why Did You Come To My House?, What's Wrong with Dogaewool! Mix-matched Socks, and Grandma's Run-away Operation.

(Chinese) 2013年在《儿童和文学》发表作品后，开始从事创作活动。曾获第8届熊津青少年文学奖短篇部门大奖，并凭借《真正的马来》一作获第14届马海松文学奖。

著有《想要藏起来的文件夹》、《阳光小学的“竹林”博客更新了》、《为什么来我家？》、 《都溪怎么了！》、《不成对的袜子》、《奶奶离家计划》等作品。
