Jeon Yonghun is a professor in the Division of Humanities at the Academy of Korean Studies, and he specializes in the history of science in East Asia and of scientific ideas. His publications include The History of Astronomy in Korea (2017), Circulation of Wanwu-zhenyuan and Criticism of Western Knowledge in the late Joseon Period (2021), and Modern Astronomy Seen from the Study of Qi by Choe Hangi (2019).
