(English) Park Haeul came to adore science fiction and fantasy while reading National Geographic and Newton as a child, and she majored in creative writing at university and graduate school to become a writer. After graduating and while working as an office worker, she continued to write wherever and whenever to achieve her dream. In 2018, she won the Grand Prize for Novels at the 3rd Korean Science Literature Awards for her work Gipa. Park hope to write stories that are, not only easy and fun to read, but also awakening-awakening in a sense that the readers would begin to view their surroundings from a different angle once they close the book cover.
