(English) Choi Jungin, who studied printmaking in university, has for a long time been illustrating children’s books. She has published picture books that interpreted classic fairy tales from a fresh perspective, such as Princess Bari, The Cowherd and the Weaver (Altair and Vega), and Sister Sun and Brother Moon. She has also collaborated with French writers and published Volubilis and La Petite Fille Qui Voulait Tout (The Little Girl Who Wanted Everything) in Europe. She enjoys using bold compositions and vivid colors. She recently worked with BOISFORET on the books Red Riding Hood’s Forest, La Bella Citta: A Painter’s Journey, and I Met a Giraffe.
She teaches illustration at Seoul Digital University.
