(English) Jang Haerim wanted to become a writer since she was 12 years old. She worked as a radio broadcasting writer for three years and has completed a drama writing course.

Upon contemplating the life-long influence of having a family that one cannot choose and how it affects an individual, she wrote her first full-length novel Family Idea.

(Chinese) 从十二岁起，一直梦想着成为一名作家，之后当了三年电台作家。拿到电视剧作家基础班结业证。

长久以来，一直在思考一个主题：无法选择的家人对个人人生产生的影响。《理想家人》是其撰写的第一部长篇作品。
