Seo Heon-gang studied photography at Chung-Ang University. He held his first solo exhibition “High School Life” in 1986. Other of his exhibitions include “Boat People” (1989), “Agent Orange” (1993), “Soul of Ceramic Art” (2001), and “Japan Today, Korea Today” (2002). He works as a freelance photographer focusing on documentary. He has photographed 18 volumes of the Korean government’s intangible cultural asset series including Jewajang, as well as the Colorful Books series Gyeryongsan, Korean Masks, and One Hundred Korean Games.
