Zo Hyoung-il, who received a doctoral degree in Education, majored in linguistics and education in the Korean language with an emphasis on lexicon and grammar at Seoul National University Graduate School. He is currently visiting professor in the department of Korean literature and linguistics at Incheon University. He has worked as researcher in the Korean Education Research Institute of Seoul National University, head of the teaching of the Korean language to foreigners in the Teachers’ College of Seoul National University, instructor at the Language Education Center of SNU, visiting professor in charge of Korean language instruction at the department of Korean Literature and Linguistics of Catholic University, Korea, associate professor of Korean language and culture studies at Digital Seoul Culture and Arts College, contract professor at Italia Venezia Ca’Foscari Universite, Consultant to KBS Morning News Korean language usage, and member of the board for the public servant exam at Levels 5, 8, and 9 in the Korean language.
