Kim Jaehun (M) is a comic artist, illustrator and writer well-known for his ability to transform text into intuitive and interesting comics. He has also hosted lectures about illustrations and writing at Seoul Women's University and Hongik University.
After graduating from Hongik University's School of Art, he worked as an advertisement illustrator and animation art director. After studying communication at the graduate school of Yonsei University, he began to pursue the goal of converting the conventional knowledge of texts and symbols into the medium of comics. Over time, he has been expanding the world of his "knowledge comics" into various fields including social studies, culture, philosophy, history and science with drawings containing beneficial information and writing easy to read.
His previous works include the TV animation series, Olympus Guardian, a culture comic series for the The JoongAng Ilbo, and Hyundai Card Library Cartoon. Books he has written include Design Caricature (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Recommended Book for Liberal Arts), Rival: Cultural Trends Seen Through Icons of the Century (Publication Industry Promotion Agency of Korea, Recommended book for Adolescents), Play, and Scientists.
