(English) Kim Sunjin studied western painting at university. Kim likes to make things such as fabric dolls, knitting, and embroidery with her hands, and she cares for time that goes slowly, old things, and well-thumbed stuff. My Little House is the first picture book that she has written and illustrated. Kim would like to lead a life writing stories about innocent and warm-hearted people for picture books like My Little House.

(Japanese) 平凡な人々の温かい時代と彼らが滞在していた空間の物語を描くのが好きです。農家が自然の移り変わりと時期を合わせて農業をするように、丁寧に黙々と、そして自然に絵の種、文の種をまいて、大きく実った絵本の実を収穫した。読者たちに美味しそうと思ってほしいという気持ちで描いた。
