Author Lee Eunmi earned her B.A. in education and Ph.D. in museum education from Yonsei University. With interest in cultural diversity, Lee ran Children's Museum exhibitions and a number of education programs at the National Folk Museum of Korea for over a decade, including the Culture Discovery Box Program and the Korean Culture Box. Later in 2015, she spent two years at Nationalmuseet as a guest researcher and observed the cultural diversity activities there.

Currently, she is working as a public researcher at the Children's Museum under the National Museum of Korea to help children learn and grow as they visit the museum and become friends with different cultures.
