Kim Sooyeon enjoyed drawing from a young age before deciding to dedicate her life to becoming a painter. After majoring in handicrafts at Sookmyung Women’s University, she went on to study ceramics at Hongik University Graduate School. By conveying stories in her illustrations, she hopes to help increase children’s empathy and help their imagination take flight. Her credits include Smartphone Supervisor, Reserved Class, and Dog’s Woes.
