Born in Busan in 1956, Jung Jun divides his time between Korea and Japan, eagerly participating in a wide range of activities, such as writing novels as well as travel books and self-help books, writing lyrics, and planning cultural events.

His works include Antonio Corea, a historical novel with a vivid depiction of Korean people sold into slavery in Europe after the 1592 Japanese invasion of Korea; a book of essays on travel, Walking the Eight Hundred Ri in the Song of Gwandong Province with Song Gang Songgang Jeong Cheol; and the lyrics to seven Korea-China-Japan songs by the young trot singer Jin Haeseong.

Born in Ukraine, Maryna Simonenko joined BTS ARMY in 2013 while attending middle school, and entered medical school in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, on a scholarship.

After traveling to Korea by herself in 2019, when she turned nineteen, she was accepted into the Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP), in 2020; she is currently studying for a master’s degree. A cheerful and energetic Millennial, Maryna worked on the book—BTS ARMY Goes to Seoul, the first-ever guide to Korean culture for BTS ARMY and Korea enthusiasts around the world—from the spring of 2022 to summer of 2023 with the author Jung Jun, while learning about Korean history and culture from him.
