Author Yi Hyeon continues the Wanini the Green Lioness series with her young audience. Her children’s books include Your Noodles Will Get All Mushy!, Hooray for Jangsu!, The Weight of a Villain, Play Ball, Tiny Tiny, The Secret of Yeondong-dong, and Yong & Maeng Every Day, and her young-adult titles include Our Scandal, 1945 Cheolwon, On the Lake, and Life Jacket. She has received the Jeon Tae Il Literature Award, the Changbi Good Children’s Book Manu Grand Prize, and the Changwon Children’s Literature Award. Wanini the Green Lioness was selected for the 2022 Hans Christian Andersen Honor List.​
