(English) Moon Kyeongmin was born in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province in 1976. After graduating from the Creative Writing Graduate Program at Dongguk University’s College of Culture and Arts, Moon made his debut in 2016 with his short story “Mr. Bear's Cave”, which was selected for the Joongang New Literature Award. Since then, he has won several awards, including the grand prize at the 2nd Dasaesu Bang Jeong-Hwan Literary Contest with his novel Uturi Ha Narin, and the grand prize at the 12th Munhakdongne Youth Literature Contest with Hulhul. Moon has authored several books, including the novel Strawberry Milk Promise; the Uturi Ha Narin series for older children; and the junior novels Why We Protect Dogs, Can We Forgive?, and I’ve Always Been Saying It. In 2021, Moon received the ARKO Literature and Creation Fund for his novel White Town.

(Japanese) 『フルフル』で第12回文学ドンネ青少年文学賞大賞を、『熊さんの洞窟』で第17回中央新人文学賞を、『ウトゥリハナリン』で第2回「再び新たに書くバン・ジョンファン文学公募展」の大賞を受けた。著書に童話『ウトゥリハナリン』シリーズ、『いちごミルク公約』、『私たちが犬を守ろうとする理由』、『許せるか』、『私はいつも言っていた』などがある。長編小説『ホワイトタウン』で2021年アルコ文学創作基金を受けた。
